I would just like to inform all of you that the mountain named Kiken in this one-shot was never mentioned in the anime or manga for demon slayer. I just made it up to create a storyline.
Also, I think I made Giyuu go out of his character so I apologize, I just thought it was really cute though.
Second Person POV
He ran, he ran as fast as his legs could take him. After hearing about the demon ambush on Kiken mount from yourKasugai crow he rushed over there as fast as he could. He hadn't known what had gotten into him he just ran.
Just thinking about the idea of you being hurt made him sick to his stomach. He hated the fact that you would always go on missions by yourself. Knowing you would risk your life to save the life of another if it came to it scared him.
After he ran passed another tree he looked to his right, as his eyes widened there you stood above a little girl who was going to have been attacked by a demon.
He didn't want to believe it.
The hand of the demon pierced right through your torso when you had tried to save the little girl in front of you. Smiling down at her you began telling her that everything was going to be alright and that you and herself would make it out alive.
As the demon was about to attack you once again Giyuu stepped in and in one single motion, he effortlessly cut off its head.

As soon as he landed balancing himself on the ground he ran over in the direction of both the girl and yourself. Luckily you had been in front of the girl blocking the gruesome scene that had just taken place. As he noticed your body slowly begin to fall he caught you in his strong arms.
Picking up both the girl and yourself he bolted to the butterfly estate in search of Shinobu's medical attention. He couldn't help but worry about how you were holding up right now. The only thing he knew was that you were still alive due to the short breaths you left on his neck.

As he finally saw the estate in sight he began screaming for the help of Shinobu not caring about the amount of attention he got while doing so. When Shinobu came out to greet him she rushed you inside telling everyone to stay out while she worked on your hurt form.
Even though Giyuu began to plead for Shinobu to let him in; she kept telling him that he would only be a distraction to her so by keeping him out, she could work with total concentration.
Tapping his foot against the wooden floor he started to become anxious; why had Oyakata-sama let you go on a mission like this one? There could have been no possible way he missed the detail about their being a small girl there; so why of all people would he assign the one person who would most likely get themselves killed on a mission such as this one?
After what seemed to be an eternity of waiting Shinobu called him into the room explaining that you would wake up when your body had its time to heal.
Holding back the happy tears he wanted to so badly shed, he thought about clutching onto Shinobu and crying into her shoulder and telling her about how happy he was that you were okay; but since he wasn't one to show his feelings like that he suppressed it not only wanting to not act strange but also not wanting to face Shinobu's wrath.
As he walked closer to you he saw your slightly ruffed up face and frowned. The way your chest rose up, then down made him wonder if your respiratory system had been damaged due to your uneven breathing.
Sitting down on a nearby chair he took your hand in his, holding it tightly against his chest hoping and praying you would get better as soon as possible so he could be blessed with your melodic noise running through his ears.
Looking up he saw the same girl he took with him from before; he had completely forgotten about her.
"E-excuse me," the young girl spoke getting his full undivided attention.
"Will she be alright?" Was the only thing she could say.
As if her prayers had been answered he nodded explaining exactly what Shinobu had said to him earlier in a context that was easier to understand for a girl of her age.
Looking down the girl began to cry saying it was all her fault and if she hadn't been there you could have taken down the demon without a care in the world. She kept saying things like how you could have died because of her.
He didn't know how to reply to what she had said; she looked so sad and gloomy, just like he would look every day of his life. Of course that all changed because you had shown him your kind smile but still.
Motioning the girl to come sit beside him he began to try and tell the girl that you were going to be okay in the most Giyuu Tomioka way possible.
"She'll live," he said bluntly.

It had passed 1 month and you had finally woken up from the little coma you had. Stretching your tired muscles that hadn't been moving during that period of time you looked to your left only to be met with what you thought the cutest thing you had ever seen.
There beside you slept both the soul deprived water pillar and a small child. Her head was resting on his lap while she slept and it seemed to you like Giyuu didn't put up a fight trying to pry her off of him.
As if the Gods told him to wake up he slowly began to open his eyes and for the first time in the span of 30 days, he was greeted with the awakened figure known as yourself.
Without even thinking about it he pulled you into a kiss he had longed for.
"You're awake."
Giggling at his statement you replied with an 'of course I am'.
After asking him about the intent of the kiss he explained to you that he had fallen in love with you and that when your Kasugai came back reporting your little incident his heart couldn't take the death of another person he loved and rushed to your aid.
When you questioned as to why the girl you had saved was on his lap he told you she was only going to leave when she saw you wake up. He had also told you about how she wouldn't shut up about you as she praised you with the upmost gratitude.
"Why was she even there in the first place?" the water pillar couldn't help but question.
"When Oyakata-sama assigned the mission to me he told me that this particular demon liked to kidnap young children because they were the easiest to take and eat," you explained.
"So he sent you on this mission because he knew you were going to do everything in your power to ensure the child could see another day? Interesting, I'm going to go have a not so nice chat with him right now."
As he was about to stand up he took both of your hands and whispered an 'I love you' in your ear making you blush in the process.
It was times like these that made you think about how much you loved the stoic water pillar.
