ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking to hire an experienced Tax Accountant in Waltham, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This client is a top local accounting firm with high-end clients; They are technologically oriented via paperless workstations. They promote a work/life balance within their organization. This company offers competitive compensation and generous benefits including healthcare, 401k match, retirement plans, vacations days, summer Fridays off, etc. Position is on-site. Responsibilities:
Comply with reginal tax laws and regulations
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
Handle all financial activity
Responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and maintaining financial records
Track receivables
Audit records to address any clerical errors
Introduce and organize new tax software
Requirements
BS degree in Accounting is required
CPA or EA or MST is a plus
3 years of Tax experience of with a CPA firm
Deep analytical thinking skills for solving difficult problems
Attention to detail
Computer literacy
Experience with preparing tax returns
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
