Dangerous Convenience Store is a completed manhwa at ninety-two chapters written and illustrated by 945. First released in 2020, It has been published by OrangeD and Ridibooks. Chapters were officially published a book format in Korean language by blackD on November 23, 2022 where there are two physical volumes available.

Synopsis[]

Yeo Eui Joon, who works at a convenience store frequented by gangsters, wants to quit as soon as possible because of the dangerous work environment. However, he's stopped by the pay that's 1.2x more than other stores! So, Eui Joon, who needs every penny he can get, overlooks the danger and continues working there. Then one day, Bum Geon Woo, who looks more like a gangster than any other gangsters show up. And as soon as he appears, the other gangsters simmer down... Will Eui Joon be able to safely continue working at this convenience store?

Yeo Eui Joon[]

Daunted and questioning if Woo is a righteous person, Joon is further bewildered at being called handsome by him. Even if he were just throwing out empty words Joon says he feels embarrassed yet happy. Working everyday part-time in a convenience store for a month, Joon feels many of the patrons are scary customers. Trembling as he is questioned on whether the prices have been jacked up Joon thinks how at least ten times a day there would be belligerent gangsters there and he wishes some heroic person would come and tell these people to try and put himself in his shoes. Apologizing that he cannot give a discount, Joon explains he would have to cover the cost with his own money. Awed at Woo being the person to assist him, Joon considers the one person who he had always dreamt of has showed up. Attending school and working from 11pm to 7 Joon says he crams all his sleep in over the weekend. He is horrified to learn of reports that gangsters have been severing fingers. In a moment Joon realized that going crazy from fear can test the limit of one's stupidity as he proceeds to hand Woo his bank card back only to find it missing and that he is touching him. At 25, Joon is regarded by others as having a gentle look that is likeable to 90% of people. He is especially well regarded by his friend's parents. His hair is genetically light, and his eyes are pale grey.

Bum Geon Woo[]

Kicking someone aside, Woo orders them to get out of his way if he is not going to buy anything. Noting as having a short temper, Woo added for Joon to hurry and ring up the cost of his purchase. Saying that Joon is handsome, Woo asks if he is some kind of celeb before noting that he looks like a trainee idol. Then commenting that he looks like a college student Woo raises how he is working so hard and asks if it is not interfering with his studies. He would break off the conversation to request something else, then also abruptly begin speaking over the phone instead of getting his bank card back. Stating that he was hanging up, Woo cut off that exchange then regarding his card told Joon to give it. where he is 37, Woo has sanbaekan eyes which gives him a scary impression to others. Part of his disposition is that his fists would fly first with questions asked later.

Joo Yeon[]

With Young pointing out that he has not received a hug, Yeon asks whether he is being clingy right now. Giving him his first warning of the day Yeon continues with a reminder that if he gets three warnings in a single day they are breaking up. She then proceeds to embrace Joon since it has been a while, even though they saw one another a month ago which causes her to reiterate what she said. Yeon is keen to hear whether Joon has a guy who he flirts with at his job.

Kim Tae Young[]

Protesting that he is not being clingy Young tells Yeon he is sorry. Young weeps as Yeon interacts warmly with Joon.

Yoon Hyeon Woo[]

He is mentioned by Yeon who asks Joon if he still likes him. Sitting next to Joon in class he was seen as handsome and tall. Woo was always optimistic and relaxed, so he took good care of the people around him. He attempted to make Joon feel better when he was upset about not getting a scholarship.

Story[]

At a convenience store Yeo Eui Joon interacts with gangster Bum Geon Woo who has been visiting every day. ^[1] Angered by the high prices on account of what he wants to buy, a man roars for Joon to give him a discount. Woo knocks him away before Joon informs him that his total is $34.28.

As Woo is on the phone Joon checks his own and views an article regarding the truth about real life gangsters and how gangs nowadays have turned into 'official corporations'. After Woo has finished talking and orders his bank card back, in fear over what he has read Woo nervously means to hand it bank but it is missing, he then soon finds himself in an interest predicament.^[2]
